Background
Phase 1 was an extension to an existing school included the erection of a new main hall, kitchen, main entrance and administration block, including reception and an art studio. Works will also include refurbishment works to the administration and beta blocks plus data cabling.

Phase 2 includes the demolition of the existing main hall, kitchen and construction of a multi-use games area plus minor internal refurbishment of the existing changing rooms and administration block.
The new building’s form is designed to maximise natural light and natural ventilation and will include various energy efficient features such as motion detection light switches, heat recovery on ventilation plant, building management system controls and smart meters with energy monitoring and reporting facilities.
