Background

The school had major works including refurbishment of the existing roofs and an extension being built requiring a further 2,000m2 of waterproofing to the new roofs.

The Problem

At times the school was in attendance, we worked alongside the main contractor and the school to ensure that works were carried out in accordance with their plans in a safe manner.

The Solution

IcoPal’s Intelligent Membrane Association (IMA) reinforced bituminous ‘Profiles’ membrane was chosen to overlay the existing mastic asphalt roof covering because of it’s high quality and proven track record whilst minimising disruption to the school below.
