A new Sika Sarnafil single ply roofing system was installed to the main roof areas, including gutters, ridges and capping details. The roof build-up included SikaRoof primer, Sarnavap vapour control layer, 140mm fully bonded PIR insulation and a Sarnafil G410-15ELF Lead Grey membrane to provide a durable, high-performance waterproofing finish. Decor standing seam profiles were installed at regular centres to give the roof a traditional standing seam appearance while maintaining the benefits of a modern single ply system. New 90mm parapet rainwater outlets were installed to provide effective roof drainage. Insulated parapet upstands were formed to the north, south, east and west elevations, with rooflight upstands completed as uninsulated details. Parapet capping was also installed to complete and protect the roof perimeter. Mechanical fixings were used along the top of the ridges, with the remaining system fully adhered.
